Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Good To Drone ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. The Service is operated by Eightfold Inc., a Texas corporation.
What the Service Is - and Is Not
Good To Drone aggregates publicly available weather, airspace, and space weather data to give drone pilots a quick situational overview before a flight. The Go/No-Go score is advisory only. It does not constitute legal authorization to fly, and it does not replace your own pre-flight judgment.
Good To Drone is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the FAA, NWS, NOAA, or any government agency.
Pilot Responsibility
You are the pilot-in-command. Under 14 CFR Part 107, you are legally responsible for every flight decision, including go/no-go, airspace authorization, weather assessment, and compliance with all applicable regulations. Nothing in the Service changes or limits that responsibility. Do not rely solely on Good To Drone to make flight decisions.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create a paid account. The Service is intended for use within the United States, where NWS and FAA data coverage is available.
Accounts and Access
Free-tier access requires no account. Paid features require a verified email address. You are responsible for keeping your account secure. Magic links are single-use and expire quickly. Do not share your session with others.
Subscriptions and Billing
Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges until you cancel. See our Refund and Cancellation Policy for details on canceling and what happens after.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to make flight decisions without independent verification
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or systematically download data from the Service
- Attempt to bypass rate limits, tier restrictions, or authentication
- Use the Service in a way that disrupts or harms other users or the infrastructure
- Resell access to the Service or data derived from it without written permission
Intellectual Property
The Good To Drone name, logo, design, and original software are the property of Eightfold Inc. Weather data sourced from NWS, NOAA, and FAA is in the public domain. You may not use the Good To Drone brand or reproduce substantial portions of the app without permission.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any data will be accurate or complete. Use of the Service is entirely at your own risk.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Eightfold Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service - including any flight incident, property damage, or regulatory penalty. Our total aggregate liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding any claim.
Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the Service, or engage in fraudulent activity. You may close your account at any time by contacting us.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Texas.
